JACC Workshops

At the Jackson Area Career Center, we believe the best learning starts by listening.

Earlier this year, we invited the community to share ideas through a public survey asking what kinds of short, affordable workshops they wanted to see. The response was clear: people were looking for hands-on, practical, and creative learning experiences they could enjoy in a relaxed, community-focused setting.

Based directly on that feedback, we’re excited to introduce JACC Workshops —a new lineup of enrichment classes designed by the community, for the community.

Our first two workshops—Bicycle Know-How and Culinary Canvass—reflect the interests we heard most often: learning useful life skills, exploring creativity, and trying something new without a long-term commitment.

This is just the beginning. As we continue to gather input, JACC Workshops will grow to include new topics shaped by local voices and interests. If you have an idea for a future workshop, we invite you to stay connected and help us keep building together.

Residents, employers, and community groups are invited to submit ideas anytime at the link below: https://forms.gle/z4Cmz3GhaXUpfjLm7.
