Mr. Nichols has 28 years of experience as a military leader from the United States Army. He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Baker College. He has taught JROTC at the middle school and high school level. He has been stationed in Germany, United States, and is a lifelong learner.
Sergeant First Class Michael Monroe

Mr. Monroe is a Navy BRAT of 21 years and has 23 years of service; 6 years of active duty in the U.S Army and 17 years in the Michigan Army National Guard’s Active Guard/Reserves Program. He retired from the National Guard in 2018. Sgt. Monroe has deployed once to Iraq, has been on numerous training missions in the U.S. and overseas, and is an experienced Army National Guard recruiter. He is also a husband and a father, and coaches for Jackson Public Schools and the Jackson community.
